CEO of Arianespace Mr. Stephane Israel along with Programme Director Mr. Marc Grosheitsch met Chairman, ISRO Shri Somanath S on 6^th June 2023 at ISRO Headquarters in Bengaluru. Senior officials of ISRO participated in the meeting.

Emphasising the long-term partnership between ISRO and Arianespace since the time of the APPLE spacecraft, both teams agreed to explore possible ways to continue the same. Recognizing the rapid advancements in the space industry and the increasing demand for satellite launches and related services, they discussed expanding the commercial launch services market and identifying new avenues for partnership.

While exploring the general trends in global upstream markets, the current and expected realisation time and the plans with LVM3 and Ariane-5/6 were assessed to explore complementing them to fulfil the market requirements. Modifications needed in the envelopes on account of it were discussed. ISRO highlighted the increasing role of NSIL in forthcoming operations and briefed the way forward. The meeting ended with both agreeing to work on these aspects.
