As part of on-going India-Bhutan Space cooperation, Shri S. Somanath, Chairman, ISRO/ Secretary, Department of Space, Government of India inaugurated a customized training programme to Bhutan officials on May 6, 2022. Ambassador of India to Bhutan; Scientific Secretary, ISRO; Directors of ISRO Centres and officials from the Royal Government of Bhutan participated in the event.

This training of one-month duration will benefit 21 officials from 7 Bhutan Government Departments to receive, process and analyse data from INS-2TD satellite (launched on February 14, 2022).
