Human resources is vital for an R&D organisation like ISRO. It is essential to manage and develop human resources to keep at par with the technology developments in the organisation. ISRO believes in continuous improvement in the skill sets of ISRO staff for ensuring best output through training, higher education and participation in seminars / conferences at national & international level. It also encourages publication of papers in national & international journals and protecting the intellectual properties.
Skill Development Programme
CBPO has taken an initiative to enhance the skills of working technicians at all ISRO centres in the niche areas where the conventional it is will not cover the trades. These skills are very essential to the people working in the areas of Aero structural welding, Pyro, Destructive testing, NDT, CNC, Avionics etc. It is expected to cover 20 technicians in seven trades covering 140 technicians in an year. The programme will spread for 4- weeks and the training will be imparted by Aerospace &Avionics Skill Sector Council (AASSC), which is one of the sector skill councils formed with the help of grant from National skill development Corporation under Ministry of Skill Development, Government of India.
