A batch of 39 IFS Officer Trainees of 2022 batch including 2 Bhutanese diplomats visited ISRO Headquarters, Bangalore on April 10, 2023 as part of their training at Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service (SSIFS), Delhi. Mrs. Sandhya V. Sharma, Additional Secretary, Department of Space (DOS) welcomed the trainees. Senior ISRO/DOS officials made presentations on the Indian space programme, ISRO's International cooperation, Space Technology Applications for National Governance, UN Treaties on Space, UNCOPUOS activities and briefed on NSIL & IN-SPACe activities. The officer trainees visited technical facilities at ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) including the facilities on Space Situational Awareness and Mission Operation Complex (MOX).
